This is my grandson Brad. I haven't heard from him for a couple of years. I love him very much and miss him something awful. I wish he would run across this Blog and know I want him to call me. Love you Brad.

Donna gave me several little bird houses that were our friend Judy's mom's when she raised birds. Donna knew that I would like and use them so gave them to me yesterday. I couldn't wait for the sun to come up this morning to put them up. I see them every morning from my kitchen window and when I go out to feed and sit with my fish for a cup of coffee to start the day. There are a couple more that sit on a table with some cute little cement birds. Thanks Donna and Judy. I love them.

This cupboard was in my old mobile. It was stored in a canopy for the past two years waiting for someone to come that could help put it in the wooden shed so it would be safe and give me a place to keep my crafting tools. The weather was taking a tole on it so this year I decided to do it myself. It is surprising what an old hard headed lady can do with some PVC pipes to help move anything heavy. If you want something bad enough sit down and think HOW Can I?? If you really want it , most of the time an asnwer will come. Only problem now at this age it seems to take longer to find the answer. LOL

This is one of the old pictures I found in my old computer. The man here was my dear grandfather. He was married the first time to my idle grandma Stella for over 30 years. She was one of my best things of life. She passed away in 1953 for my biggest heartbreak of life. Grandpa Will married again and found another wonderful grandma for me. He was married to her for another 30 years before he passed away. He gardened right up till he fell and broke his hip. Taking him from his garden is the final thing that made him give up and search for his Lord. He was a very religious kind and gentle man. My grandparents gave me much to live up to. If asked what famous person I would want to see again, It would be these wonderful grandparents.

I was so nervous about how my old cat Pumpkin would accept the ki ttens.
As you can see, he is right in there cuddling with everyone.

My happy little family enjoying the nice soft blanket. Only ones not here
is Bonzi and Chick-a-Dee. Bonzi got out when it got too crowded with the
pesky little kittens. He plays with them but when it comes to sleeping he is
a little anti-social.

Well , with the first big rain here and lightning hitting electric polls to cut off electricity for several areas we know winter is on it's way. Being one that don't like cold I put on my electric blanket yesterday. Through the night I kept feeling a new little body coming on the bed. Teeka & Bonzi, my little dogs always sleep with me. This morning I found all the kittens and my old cat. (The orange one, called Pumpkin) as someone dropped him off at my place about Halloween time about ten years or so ago. Bonzi had left as he is a little anti social when it comes to the kittens invading his space. Guess I won't have to worry about getting cold in bed with all these bed partners.

Getting Bold and Brave.

The kittens are like my kids.  Getting to big for their britches too soon.  The kittens love to get outside and play on the mountian in the mornings.

Rescue Kittens Growing TOO Fast.

My rescued babies are getting
big and so independant much too fast.
They can't wait for the back door to be open
in the morning so they can go out and play on
the mountian in back of the house.  Climbing on the drift wood I brought back from the lake to help hold in the soil that I plant flowers in is a favorite fun time for them.  Can you tell these little sweeties are a BIG part of my life now??

Every one pretty much do what ever they want around here. Chick-A-Dee and Boots
came in the house to cool off being it is near 100 % today. Bonzi and Teeka stay in with
me most of the time so they think it is time to play Tug-O-War with the little toy Rabbit.

Up Dating my Fish World

OK , so another challange is here calling for attention.  My fish pond sprung a leak so a new place for the fish is a demand.  I decided I have an old bathtub just sitting so it should make a new place that there will be no worry of springing a leak again.  So off to see what I can do toget it usable.  I found that the connections to the tub needed replaced and up dated so off to the Hardware store I went.  OUCH All I needed was a nut that holds the drain pipe together.  NO such luck.  Have to buy the whole connection. Which is $$$  OH so lets go to plan B and try to fix the old in a new way.  With screwdriver and hammer in hand I got the old glued pvc out of the drain to add a new on.  OPPS. Looks like the main drain connection, Medal part for the water to drain out of the main tub is leaking.  GRrrrr  On to plan C.  The blasted thing is glued not just screwed in.  Pam's {My daughter}boyfriend came by and saw me fighting to cut off this part and took pitty on me enough to give me a helping hand.  What a nice guy.  I never ask for help but when given by choice I do accept sometimes.   LOL OK  He got it off.  Now back to the Hardware store.  YIKES another disapointment.  Have to buy the whole part Inside drain and connector.  Gads.  even bigger $$ than the other SOoo On to plan D.
Now this story is beginning to get beyond telling so I'll just say I had another plastic fish pond that had been used to grow water plants in.  It is now changed , water plants waiting to be replanted and some given away and it is now placed in it's new area with fish very happy in the new larger pond. Cloe thiks it's a neat place to watch the fish.

New drain and shut off valve in place 8/27/10A little extra work now will make it so much easier to clean and change water for the fish later.
